About Wood Glen Hall

Nestled in the foothills of the blue Santa Barbara Mountains, cooled by ocean breezes, surrounded by good friends and gracious service, Wood Glen Hall is the place you've always imagined.

Built in 1956 by Adrian and Ailene Wood, Wood Glen Hall is a non-profit senior community.  Licensed by the Department of Social Services as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, it is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Wood Glen Hall provides a supportive Retirement Residence that requires no "buy-in," just a small one-time admissions fee. Monthly rental fees are based on operating costs and may increase from time to time. Wood Glen Hall's mission is to provide a superior yet affordable retirement option for seniors.

Wood Glen Hall is built on a single level with all private rooms, in a beautifully landscaped area at the outer rim of an attractive residential area. In addition to the lovely courtyards, a quarter-mile walkway surrounds the building. Residents enjoy seasonal flowers and many species of bird life year-round. Patios are set in a formal garden for serene relaxation and for the entertainment of family and friends. You'll find your choice of contented repose, creative arts, or community involvement.

An activity coordinator arranges entertainment and special events for your pleasure. Art, music, crafts, exercise, and games of all kinds are available. Wood Glen Hall's own private bus is available for transportation.

The spacious rooms enjoy lovely patio views for a sense of indoor-outdoor living. Many residents completely furnish and decorate their rooms "just like home."

Relax in the assurance of a two-way communication system from each room to the office. A full time Registered Nurse is available for consultation.
